About:

Practicing law has been a long-term goal for me ever since participating in a mock trial exercise in middle school. With that goal in mind, I pursued a degree in political science at Grand Valley State University with the intent of going to law school immediately following my undergraduate studies. I graduated cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and joined the team at Kraayeveld Law. I have always had a passion for working with kids. Throughout my time in college and law school, I worked as a high school marching band instructor and as a recreational gymnastics coach. One of my proudest achievements was founding and directing a competitive indoor percussion organization for my students to participate in at a local high school. I formed relationships with each of my students and this allowed me to gain insights into teenagers’ struggles and victories. This experience provides me with a greater understanding of young people’s struggles when the parents divorce. I utilizes my passion for helping kids as a family law attorney by working hard to ensure a positive outcome for children as families navigate divorce and custody proceedings. As a Grand Rapids native, I strive to make a difference in the community by helping families navigate the legal process during a challenging time in their lives. I have a twin brother and value spending time with my large family. In the summer, I spend my spare time outside with my wife, Michelle and our dog, Zoey. In the winter, you can find me on the ski slopes when I am not in the office.

"This place is a joke. I said in their ER from 4pm to 730pm yesterday 7/12/2025 with the back of my head cracked opened, bleeding all over the 3 blankets I had wrapped around me and the towel around my neck. Very visible blood. They all know I was in excruciating pain, as I had stated so when I came in. Finally, I stated I was going to leave and go somewhere else because I was tired of them taking patients back that had came in after me with non-trauma issues and being released well I still sat there, they told me they were taking me back. My room just got cleaned. No, there were 4 clean rooms we walked past. They just didn't want to place anyone in them. Absolutely ridiculous. I should have been high priority. I had to get 4 staples and 4 stitches, im not even from this area, we live 2 hours away. It was ridiculous that I could've drove home and got better care than stayed there. Pull it together Trinity."

"A big shoutout to Rebecca H and Dr. Paciorek. They are kind, compassionate caregivers that took the time to explain each step in the process. Rebecca H is outstanding at her job. Trinity is fortunate to have these wonderful leaders as part of their team. Thank you for the comforting care."

"Horrible… one month later I’m looking back at MyChart and seeing that I have a liver cyst + another large ovarian cyst I was not informed of. Came in 4 days in a row before they finally agreed to do testing on me aside from basic blood work and an IV. Be prepared to advocate for yourself and PUSH for information on your health because nurses here will not provide you with such. Spent way more time and money here than I actually needed to, and still don’t have answers. A good hospital will do testing, tell you the results, and pursue further testing/follow-up care. They did my CT scan and left me completely in the dark afterward."
